Derek Johns
Derek Johns was born on February 27, 1992 in London, Ontario & raised in Saint-Colomban, Quebec. A graduate from Dawson College's professional theatre school in Montreal, Derek then went on to focus on Film & Television. He started by landing smaller roles on TV series' like The Moodys (2019) on FOX & The Bold Type (2017) on Freeform. His first major role was on the feature film, The Wolf and the Lion (2021), directed by Gilles de Maistre, where he played the likeable animal tracker, Charles. Derek was fortunate enough to be cast as Love Sausage in the hit series The Boys (2019). His character, with extreme strength and a 25-foot penis, is a fan favorite in the comics on which the Amazon series is based. Fans will be able to see Derek starring in the upcoming feature film, We Are Zombies (2023), based on the comic book series "The Zombies That Ate the World", directed by the RKSS trio that brought you the cult classics Turbo Kid (2015) & Summer of 84 (2018). He can also be seen in the horror film, The Sacrifice Game (2023), alongside Mena Massoud from Aladdin. In addition to acting, Derek is also an avid Twitch streamer, under the name @DerkaJohnsTV, where you can see him gaming and providing his witty banter. Fun fact, Derek is very passionate about hockey, specifically his Toronto Maple Leafs! In high school he would place bets against his home team, the Montreal Canadians, just to spite his friends. A couple of decades later, he now says "the joke is on me because the Leafs are perennial losers".

Reviewers score the acting 54/100 in their films, across 6 reviewed titles; fans 68, detractors 28. The element that speaks to their work as an actor.
Percentiles are each film's standing among all films on MovieCove; the typical film is the median, so one outlier cannot drag it. Percentiles and reviewer scores count the films IMDb credits them on, for now; the Midcredits score bands, the shape of the crowd and the two cards count their MovieCove titles, shows included (a show ranked among shows), appearances as themselves left out. A descriptor is the shape of a title's IMDb rating distribution against the catalog; "most divisive" needs a spread wider than half of all titles, and a card names only a principal credit: a craft role, and on a show a crew role or a run of episodes, never a courtesy credit or a one-off guest spot.
